I have had a long love affair with travel. The notion of being in a foreign land with new smells, tastes and people had always enamored me. As a child, I drew inspiration by watching travelogues on TV.
I waited for the day when I could travel on my own dime. I was 22, when I made my first international trip primarily to pursue graduate studies in the US. Since then, I have travelled to 35 countries across 5 continents. During my travels, I like to get a feel for the local way of life. I am always curious to the understand the local history and it’s influence on architecture, culture and cuisine. More importantly, I take a lot of detours to find unique things to eat. Food is an essential part of my wanderlust. This blog is a chronicle of my journey so far.
